A delegation from the Association of Retired Flag Rank Officers (ARFRO), led by its President, paid a courtesy call on the Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy at Navy Headquarters on 08th April 2025.
The meeting provided a cordial and constructive platform to reaffirm the longstanding relationship between ARFRO and the Sri Lanka Navy. During the discussion, the ARFRO representatives briefed the Commander on the Association’s current initiatives and future plans aimed at promoting the welfare and continued engagement of retired flag rank officers. The delegation also expressed its appreciation to the Navy for the continued support extended to ARFRO in various capacities.
The Commander of the Navy extended his warm welcome to the delegation and conveyed his appreciation for the role ARFRO plays in upholding the values of service, camaraderie, and national contribution among retired senior officers. He acknowledged the importance of such engagements in fostering unity between the serving and retired leadership of the tri-services.
The meeting concluded on a highly positive note, with both parties expressing their commitment to strengthening cooperation and continuing dialogue on matters of mutual interest.
