The ARFRO Members Get-together, held at “The Grand Maitland”, Colombo 07 on 04th October 2025 was a memorable evening of fellowship and camaraderie. The event was attended by approximately 200 members and their spouses, reflecting the strong sense of unity within the Association.
The occasion was honoured by the presence of distinguished guests, including the Hon. Deputy Minister of Defence, the Secretary to the Ministry of Defence, the Commander of the Army, and the Commander of the Air Force, whose participation added considerable prestige to the gathering.
The programme featured engaging activities such as a Tombola draw, which was warmly received by members, as well as vibrant cultural performances by Army dancers, complemented by music provided by the Army band. A thoughtfully arranged selection of refreshments further enhanced the convivial atmosphere of the evening.
Overall, the get-together successfully reinforced fellowship among members and provided an enjoyable and enriching experience for all who attended.
